Who we are
Compliance Hub, run by Compliance Hub Ltd (“we”, “us”) provides this service. By using the site, the briefing or an account you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
Not legal advice
Compliance Hub collects news from public sources for information only. Summaries, “why it matters” notes, checklists, severity labels, fine amounts and deadlines are drafted automatically under our editorial policy and can be incomplete, out of date or wrong — including on stories reviewed by an editor. Nothing on the site or in the briefing is legal, regulatory or professional advice, and using it doesn’t create an adviser–client relationship. Always check the original source and, where it matters, a qualified adviser before acting.
Your account
Keep your sign-in secure and tell us if you think someone else has used it. You’re responsible for what happens under your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Acceptable use
- Don’t post anything unlawful, defamatory, abusive, misleading or that infringes someone’s rights.
- Don’t spam, impersonate others, or submit links to malware or phishing.
- Don’t scrape or bulk-download the site, or overload or probe it for vulnerabilities, without our written permission. Our RSS feed and exports are there for personal and internal use.
- Don’t try to get around access controls or use another person’s account.
Content and sources
Headlines, articles and images from other publishers belong to them; we show headlines and short extracts with a link to the original. Our summaries, analysis, enforcement data and site design belong to us. You may quote short extracts with a link back to Compliance Hub.
If you own content shown here and want it changed or removed, akshay@akshayjerath.dev with the link and we’ll respond promptly.
Your contributions
You keep ownership of comments and submissions, and give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and adapt them as part of the service. You confirm you have the right to share them. We may moderate or remove any contribution. Your watch log is private to you: we don’t publish it or use it for anything other than showing it back to you.
The service
Compliance Hub is free and provided “as is” and “as available”. We may change, pause or stop any part of it. We don’t promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it covers every regulatory change — it is one input to your compliance monitoring, not a replacement for it. Links to other sites are provided for convenience; we aren’t responsible for their content.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data or business, and we aren’t liable for decisions made on the basis of content on the site. Our total liability to you for any claim about the service is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and 100 US dollars.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t legally be limited, such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your rights as a consumer under the law where you live.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and significant changes will be announced on the site. You can stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute, except where the law where you live gives you the right to bring proceedings there. Before going to court, please akshay@akshayjerath.dev so we can try to resolve it.
